RBI Assistant Recruitment 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will issue a job circular for Assistants (RBI Assistant 2024) in due course. When it is released, applicants can access it through the bank's careers portal, opportunities.rbi.org.in.
Last year, the notification was sent out on September 13, and the application window closed on October 4. The examination was conducted for 450 positions.
The RBI Assistant 2024 notification will include the date and time of the examination, the application window, eligibility requirements, exam pattern, and other information.
RBI Assistant Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Last year, Indian citizens, Nepalese, Bhutanese, and Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, were eligible to apply for the RBI Assistant recruitment exam.
Persons of Indian heritage who had migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African republics of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently reside in India were also eligible to apply for the positions.
However, such applicants needed to have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
RBI Assistant Recruitment 2024: Age limit
Candidates who are at least 20 and not more than 28 years old on the cut-off date are eligible to apply for RBI Assistant positions. The exam notification will include the cut-off date.
Applicants from the reserved categories shall be eligible for a relaxation in the upper age restriction.
RBI Assistant Recruitment: Minimum educational qualification
To be eligible for the position, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.
There is no minimum mark requirement for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, however, a bachelor's degree at the pass level is required.
The minimum criterion for ex-servicemen is a graduation degree, matriculation, or equivalent education, as well as at least 15 years of defence service.
Furthermore, applicants must be able to read, speak, and understand the language of the state under which the recruitment office operates.
