REET 2024: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will end the registration window for the Rajasthan Eligibility and Entrance Test 2024 test tomorrow, January 15. Interested applicants yet to submit applications for REET 2024 can do so by visiting the official website at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Applicants who wish to sit for REET level 1 or level 2 must pay an application fee of Rs 550 each. Students who choose to appear at both levels must pay a combined fee of Rs 750.
The REET 2024 test will be conducted on February 27, 2025, at several exam centres throughout the state. It will take place in two shifts: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The REET admit card for 2024 will be delivered on February 19, 2025. To download the REET 2024 hall ticket, applicants must enter their login credentials, which include their registration number and password.
REET 2024 exam: What is the new OMR rule?
The board has implemented a new OMR regulation for the REET exam, among other adjustments. The REET question paper will now include five options rather than four, according to the board, which also announced the exam's marking method.

According to the REET's new OMR rule, each question will have five options instead of four. The rule also implements a negative marking method for incorrect responses.
If an applicant selects an erroneous response from the five options, a negative mark will be assigned. Every incorrect response will result in a deduction of 0.33 points from the total marks granted to the question.
REET 2024: Eligibility criteria
Applicants can check the REET 2024 eligibility criteria listed below:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50%, and either a completed or pending 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under any name).
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks, and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under any name), as required by the NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulation, 2002.
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% and a completed or upcoming 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
