Along with the NTPC result, RRBs are also expected to share category-wise cut-off marks.

RRBs released the NTPC graduate-level CBT 1 Exam provisional answer key on June 1, 2025, and closed the objection window on July 6, 2025.

CBT 1: 100 marks, 90 minutes, subjects include General Awareness (40 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30 marks).

CBT 2: 120 marks, 90 minutes, same subjects with varying weightage depending on the post.

Negative marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for each wrong answer.

Additional tests: Typing test for some posts, Computer-Based Aptitude Test for Station Master post.

RRB NTPC Result 2025 for the Graduate Level CBT 1 exam will be released soon on regional websites.

Step 3: A PDF will open with the list of shortlisted candidates.

Step 4: Search for your roll number in the result PDF.

Given below are the steps and methods used to calculate the normalised marks.

1. Percentile Based Calculation: 

For each shift, a candidate’s percentile score is calculated as follows:

Percentile Score = (No. of candidates with raw score ≤ Candidate’s score ÷ Total number of candidates in the shift) × 100

This percentile value reflects the candidate’s relative position within their own shift.

2. Merging Percentile Scores:

Percentile scores from all exam shifts are then merged and known as RRB Scores, which are used to prepare the final merit list instead of using raw scores.

3. Interpolation for Normalised Marks:

If a candidate’s percentile is not present in the base shift, an interpolation method is used to convert the percentile score into normalized marks for accurate ranking.
