RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will resume the application window for Technician Recruitment in 2024 today, October 2. Applicants who did not apply during earlier sessions will have another chance to submit their forms at rrbapply.gov.in until October 16.

The decision to reopen the application window was made due to an increase in the number of openings. The RRBs stated that existing applicants will be able to make a few changes to their forms.

The application form correction window will be available on October 17 and closing on October 21. Applicants will need to pay ₹250 per modification. New candidates can edit their forms according to the conditions outlined in the notification. Existing applicants will be able to change the following information: educational qualification, zone and post preferences, photo, and signature.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Important points to remember

Here are some key items to remember before applying.

- Applicants who applied during the previous window and paid the application cost are considered existing applicants. They will not be asked to pay any additional fees during this period.

- Existing candidates will be allowed to apply for newly added categories as well as previously notified categories that they did not select. They will also be able to change the previously selected categories.

- Existing candidates will only be able to modify their educational qualifications, re-upload images and signatures, and modify RRB and post choices.

- Aspirants who have not previously submitted their applications, those who applied but did not pay the cost, and those who submitted applications for category 1 (Technician grade 1) but did not apply for Technician grade 3 would be classified as new applicants.

- During the reopened application window, fresh applicants can apply for Technician positions in all categories ranging from 2 to 40.
