As per media reports, for the safety of students, many schools in the city have declared a holiday today on September 15, 2025. If the weather warning continues like this then schools are likely to remain closed tomorrow also.

This School holiday, which starts from September 27, will last for 8 days. If we exclude the two working days in between, the days will be similar to the 10-day Onam holiday.

-September 27th and 28th are Sunday and Saturday. Naturally, schools are closed on these days. There will be classes on Monday, the 29th. But let's go peacefully. Pooja will be performed on the 30th. According to media reports, a school in Baner, Pune kept its daycare open on a full holiday to help working parents, but requested children to be taken away by 5 pm for safety reasons, possibly due to heavy rainfall. There is no official update yet on the school holiday for tomorrow i.e. 16 September.

In Rajasthan, the festive spirit deepens with Navratra Sthapna on September 22. Schools may declare a closure as families prepare for nine days of devotion to Goddess Durga. For students, this often becomes a short break before the larger set of Durga Puja holidays.
