All government, government-aided, and private schools, will have to conduct classes in a hybrid format for students up to grade 5.

The Delhi government directed schools to conduct the classes in hybrid mode up to Class 5 due to severe AQI in the city.

Students and parents are advised to stay in touch with the school and educational authorities to stay updated with the latest details. 

All the schools in Delhi-NCR will move towards a hybrid mode for classes up to Class 5 due to high AQI.

As of now, the government has not announced closure of schools and colleges in Delhi.

If we take a look at previous years data, schools in Delhi-NCR have closed as pollution levels rise.

GRAP is a multi-stage plan of action that helps in controlling air pollution, AQI.

Poor AQI in Delhi, there are high chances that the Delhi government will either declare the closure of educational institutions or shift towards online classes.

On November 10, 11, and 14 have been announced as paid holidays for all schools and offices working as polling or counting centres.

The AQI in Delhi and its neighbouring cities Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram has reached dangerous levels.

Students are advised to stay in touch with the school authoritie and keep a track.

Collector and District Magistrate Harichandana Dasari of Hyderabad announced that all institutions designated as polling stations, will remain clised today.

The Centre alsoinvoked stricter anti-pollution measures under Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).

 Schools closure decisions are likely to depend on air quality readings and health advisories.

As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s average AQI recorded on Monday stood at 372 which is severe.

It is expected that the schools might be shifted on online classess till Class due to the ongoing situation. 

As of now, the Directorate of Education has not published any official notice on Delhi school holidays.

Whether or not schools will remain closed in Delhi-NCR and other parts of the country is not confirmed yet.
