School Closed: In view of the cyclonic storm known as "Michaung" school holidays have been declared in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu today, December 5, 2023. The announcement was made taking into consideration the forecast of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall and severe winds.

According to the updates, due to the Cyclonic Storm 'Michaung', all schools, colleges, educational institutions, and government offices including the Offices of Public Undertakings/ Corporations, Boards, Banks, and Financial Institutions in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Chengalpattu Districts, will be closed today, December 5, 2023.

Andhra Pradesh School Closed
The state government announced the holiday in Krishna and NTR districts of Andhra Pradesh due to the cyclone and rainfall today, December 5. The Department of Education (DEO) has announced the postponement of the SA 1 exams scheduled for today, as per media reports. School and college authorities have been advised not to operate classes. Students and parents are advised to contact their respective schools to know their school holiday status.
