Winter Vacations For School: According to TOI, all schools in the Ghaziabad district would close for students up to Class 8 until December 30 due to significant rainfall in the region. To lessen the dangers associated with inclement weather, the district administration has directed that classes for students in grades 9 and higher begin after 9 a.m. during this period.
The mandate applies to all schools associated with the CBSE, ICSE, and state boards. The rain started late Thursday about 2:50 a.m. and lasted throughout the day.
Schools in the Delhi-NCR districts of Gurgaon and Faridabad will have a 15-day winter holiday beginning January 1. Starting January 16, schools will reopen.
The Directorate of Education in its circular mentioned, "Winter holidays are declared in all the schools of the state from January 1 to 15, 2025. Schools will be reopened as usual from 16 January 2025.”
Meanwhile, the winter holiday dates for Noida schools have yet to be released. Schools in Noida are expected to be closed from January 1 to 15, as was the case last year.

Rajasthan School Winter Vacation 2024
The winter break for the 2024-25 session in Rajasthan is scheduled to run from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025. However, these dates may change depending on the School Education Department's statements.
Uttar Pradesh Winter Vacation 2024
Schools in Uttar Pradesh are anticipated to take a holiday from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025. However, the authorities have yet to confirm these dates.
Jammu and Kashmir Winter Vacation 2024
Schools in Jammu and Kashmir will be closed till February 2025, up to Class 5. The winter vacation for students in grades 6–12 began on December 16, 2024, and will end on February 28, 2025.
Punjab Winter Vacation 2024
The Punjab Education Department has already declared the winter break from December 24 and last until December 31, 2024. Depending on the weather, the vacation could be prolonged.
Bihar Winter Vacation 2024
According to media reports, Bihar's winter vacation is scheduled to run from December 25 to December 31, 2024.
