SSC CGL Exam Result 2024: The announcement of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-1 results for 2024, released on December 6, has stirred widespread discussion among aspirants. Despite a notable increase in the number of vacancies this year, many candidates have voiced their disappointment over the unexpectedly high cut-off marks.

Many users, on "X," shared their views on the issue, highlighting the impact of excessively high cut-offs and the need for transparency in the selection process.

"High cut-offs in the SSC CGL exam should ensure opportunities for deserving candidates. However, excessively high cut-offs often eliminate many talented aspirants. What we need is a realistic and fair cut-off to provide equal opportunities for all," said a user on X.

They further alleged potential discrepancies in the examination process. Drawing parallels to the MTS exam controversies, another user added, "If layers of discrepancies are uncovered in this, just like in the MTS examination, it could turn out to be the biggest scam to date. If SSC believes everything was conducted fairly, it must ensure transparency and bring the truth to light."

Pointing towards a specific issue in the results, another user remarked, "The consecutive selection of roll numbers from a single center is unprecedented and raises serious questions. Such occurrences are only possible if the center was manipulated. SSC must involve a competent agency to investigate this matter promptly."

Another user demanded that SSC immediately release the marks for SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 and called for a CBI investigation into the matter to ensure accountability and restore trust in the system.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 17,727 vacant seats in the Group B and Group C posts under various ministries and departments of the Government of India.
