SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Date 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Thursday announced the SSC CGL tier 1 exam date 2024. According to the notification, the SSC CGL tier 1 exam will be conducted from September 9 to 26, 2024. Candidates can check the notification at ssc.gov.in.
"The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024(Tier-I) from 09-Sep-2024 to 26-Sep-2024. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates," reads the notification.
The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL 2024 notification on June 24, 2024, on its official website, ssc.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 vacant positions within the organisation. The SSC CGL recruitment exam appoints candidates to Grade B and C posts across various Government Ministries and Departments. The exam is conducted in two tiers, with a third tier for those applying for the positions of Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier 1 is an objective test conducted online, featuring a total of 100 questions, each worth 2 marks. A penalty of 0.50 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer. Further details are provided in the table below.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be held for candidates who have qualified Stage 1. The exam pattern for Tier 2 is outlined below.
