SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024: The Staff Selection Commission on Thursday released the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 can check and download the SSC CGL Result 2024 at ssc.gov.in.
According to the notification, candidates have been shortlisted for the Tier-II examination based on their marks in the Tier-I Examination, with category-wise selections. The commission has issued Separate cut-offs for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Statistical Investigator Grade-II (SI), and all other posts.
"As the Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website on 07.02.2019. Such normalized marks have been used to qualify candidates for the next stage of Examination (i.e. Tier-II)," reads the notification.
Representations from candidates regarding the answer keys of the SSC CGL Tier-I Examination have been thoroughly reviewed, and the Answer Keys have been revised where necessary, as per the commission. The final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation. The Final Answer Keys, along with the Question Paper(s) and the marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates, will be made available on the Commission's website shortly.
The SSC Tier 2 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held from January 18, 2025, to January 20, 2025. Shortlisted candidates are advised to regularly check the Commission's website for further updates.
