SSC MTS 2024: The application window closes for the Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar (CIBC and CBN) recruitment examination 2024 today, August 3. Those who have yet to submit their forms can do it on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.gov.in. Previously, the application deadline was July 31.
The commission modified the deadline for assessing eligibility requirements, including age and educational requirements, after extending the application window.
According to the most recent announcement, the deadline for determining eligibility has been moved from August 1 to August 3.
The commission said the window for application rectification – August 16 to 17 (11 p.m.)—will stay intact.
SSC MTS 2024: Vacancies increased
Additionally, the SSC has expanded the number of non-technical multitasking staff positions from 4,887 to 6,144. The total number of positions to be filled through MTS and the Havaldar test in 2024 is now 9,583, in addition to the 3,439 Havaldar openings.
The computer-based exam will likely be held by the commission in October or November of 2024. A more thorough schedule will be revealed at a later time.
The MTS position is open to candidates who, as of August 3, are between the ages of 18 and 25. Candidates for the Havaldar position must be between the ages of 18 and 27. Applicants in the reserved category have received an age relaxation.
In addition, on or before August 3, 2024, applicants must complete the Class 10 final exam or an equivalent exam from an accredited board.
SSC MTS 2024 application fees are ₹100. This charge is waived for female candidates, SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen who qualify for reservations.
