Holidays Uncertain amid Poor Weather Forecast:

While the weather is expected to ease slightly tomorrow, Monday, officials are still monitoring the rain patch forming over the Bay of Bengal. Moderate rains may continue in several interior and northern districts until the morning of November 17, 2025. This has raised questions among parents about whether authorities will declare another holiday for schools, especially in vulnerable areas where roads are flooded.

Tamil Nadu School Holiday:

As of now, the Tamil Nadu government has not issued any official notification for a holiday on November 17. However, district collectors have been asked to review local conditions and make decisions based on ground reports. If the rain continues at this pace overnight, it is likely that some districts may opt for a holiday to ensure the safety of students.

Parents are advised to keep track of official announcements from the respective district Collectorate and the School Education Department. If conditions worsen overnight, authorities may issue a fresh notification early tomorrow.
