TNPSC Combined Civil Service 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has begun the application process for the Combined Civil Services Examination (group 1 services) on March 28. Candidates who are interested should apply for TNPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2024 via the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in.
The TNPSC Group 1 application window will remain available until April 27, 2024. After that, the agency will launch an application correction window from May 2 to May 4, 2024.
According to the timetable, the TNPSC Combined Civil Services Group 1 test will be held on July 13 at various centres throughout the state. The exam will be administered in a single shift, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

TNPSC Combined Civil Service Recruitment 2024: Group 1 total vacancies details
The recruiting drive intends to fill 90 group 1 posts in the department. Amongst them are 16 vacancies for Deputy Collector, 23 for Deputy Superintendent of Police, 14 for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), 21 for Deputy Registrar, 14 for Assistant Director of Rural Development, 1 for District Employment Officer, and 1 for District Officer.
TNPSC Combined Civil Service Recruitment 2024: Group 1 selection process
The hiring process of candidates will take place in three stages: preliminary, main, and interviews. The preliminary exam, planned for July 13, will include objective-type questions spanning general studies, aptitude, and mental ability exams.
Candidates must pay a preliminary examination fee of Rs 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only) when making their online application for this recruitment if they qualify for a fee exemption. Students who pass the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam. The main examination fee is Rs 200, which candidates must pay.
