TNPSC Group 4 Results 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has increased the number of vacancies for the Group 4 services recruitment exam, with results released on October 28, 2024. Initially set at 6,244 positions, the total vacancies have now increased to 9,491 following a third addendum. Candidates can view the TNPSC Group 4 results 2024 and access a detailed breakdown of available positions on the official TNPSC website at tnpsc.gov.in.

TNPSC Group 4 Results 2024: Revised Vacancy List

The total vacancies increased to 8,932 after the commission initially added 480 positions, followed by an additional 2,208. The updated distribution of vacancies includes:

Typist: 2,360
Steno-Typist: 642
Junior Assistant: 32
Senior Factory Assistant: 25
Steno Typist (Grade III): 3

Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth): 216
Junior Assistant: 22 vacancies

The TNPSC Group 4 examination was conducted on June 9, 2024, across Tamil Nadu in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The exam comprised two sections: Part A, the Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test, with 100 questions totaling 150 marks, and Part B, which included 75 General Studies questions and a 25-question Aptitude & Mental Ability Test, also totaling 150 marks. Only candidates who scored a minimum of 40 per cent (60 marks) in Part A were eligible to have Part B evaluated. The provisional answer key was made available on June 18.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter the required details

Step 4: The TNPSC Group 4 Results 2024 will appear on the screen
