TS TET 2024: The Telangana Government School Education Department has released the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG-TET-2024-II) exam date and has begun registering teachers in grades 1 through 8 in Telangana State schools. The TS TET application form deadline is November 20.

According to the timetable, the TGTET exam 2024 will be administered in computer-based examination (CBT) format from January 1 to January 20 at various testing centres throughout the state. To be eligible for appointment as a teacher in grades 1 through 8, candidates must pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), administered by the appropriate government by the National Council for Teacher Education's (NCTE) guidelines.

Every applicant with DElEd, DEd, BEd, language pandit, or similar qualifications, and applicants in their final year of the aforementioned courses with the required percentage, are eligible to apply for the exam.

The department will use the TS TET 2 exam to fill teacher vacancies in Telangana's state government, mandal parishad, Zilla parishad, private aided, and private unaided schools from grades 1 to 8.

TG TET 2024 schedule

TG TET 2 will be administered in two shifts: session 1 from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and session 2 from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p. Paper 1 will be held for those who want to teach grades 1–5, and paper 2 for those who want to teach grades 6–8.

Those applying for one paper will pay Rs 750, while those wishing to appear for both papers will pay Rs 1,000 in application costs.
