TS TET Notification 2025: The Department of School Education, Telangana on Monday released the notification for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) for January 2025. The Telangana TET registration process will start tomorrow, November 5, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online at schooledu.telangana.gov.in.

The registration period will be open until November 20. According to the official notification, the TS TET 2024 January exam is scheduled to take place from January 1 to January 25. Candidates are advised to carefully check the eligibility criteria before submitting their application forms.

TS TET 2024: Eligibility Criteria

For Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5): Candidates must have completed their senior secondary education with a minimum of 50 percent marks and hold either a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

For Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8): Candidates should possess a BA, BSc, or BCom degree with at least 50 percent marks and must have completed a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (Special Education). For more details, candidates can refer to the official notification.

The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a crucial part of the recruitment process for teachers in government schools, and it is a mandatory qualification for anyone wishing to pursue a career as a government teacher. The Department of School Education in Telangana administers the TET 2024 exam in two phases each year. This year, the first phase was conducted in May, attracting around 235,000 candidates, of whom approximately 109,000 successfully passed the exam.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- schooledu.telangana.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link TS TET application form

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter the required details

Step 4: Upload documents and pay the application fees
