A total of 1,11,406 institutional candidates were registered, 1,08,281 appeared, and 98,788 passed.

The overall pass percentage for institutional candidates is 91.23%. Among them, 54,888 boys were registered, 52,945 appeared, and 47,022 passed, resulting in an 88.81% pass rate.

56,518 girls were registered, 55,336 appeared, and 51,766 passed, achieving a 93.54% pass percentage.

1,832 private candidates were registered, 1,578 appeared, and 936 passed.

The overall pass percentage for private candidates is 59.37%.

Among boys, 1,153 registered, 977 appeared, and 539 passed, with a pass percentage of 55.16%.

Among girls, 679 were registered, 601 appeared, and 397 passed, resulting in a 66.22% pass percentage.

Out of a total of 1,13,238 registered students, 1,09,859 appeared for the exams and 99,725 successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 90.77%.

Among male students, 56,041 were registered, 53,922 appeared, and 47,561 passed, recording a pass percentage of 88.20%.

For female students, 57,197 were registered, 55,937 appeared, and 52,164 passed, achieving a higher pass percentage of 93.25%.

According to the toppers list shared by the UBSE, Jatin Joshi of HGS SVM IC (Saraswati Vidya Mandir Intermediate College) Kusumkhera, Haldwani, Nainital and Kamal Singh Chauhan of Vivekanand VMIC Mandalshera, Bageshwar have topped the class 10th exams this year. 

A total of 83.23 per cent of students have cleared the class 12 exams this year, as per the information shared by UBSE. Last year, the pass percentage for class 12 was recorded at 82.63 per cent.

According to the information shared by the USBE, a total of 90.77 per cent of students have cleared the 10th class exams this year. The class 10 pass percentage this year has seen an uptick of over 1.5 per cent. The pass percentage in Class 10 last year was 89.14 per cent.

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education on Saturday declared the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam results. Students waiting for the result can check their scorecards on the official website of UBSE at ubse.uk.gov.in and uaresults.nic.in.

Priyanshi Rawat of Gangolihat topped the Uttarakhand Board 10th exam in 2024 with 100 per cent marks. Shivam Maletha of Rudraprayag secured the second position and Ayush of Srikot with 99 per cent secured the third position.

To pass the UBSE Class 12 examinations, students must obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject. Importantly, this minimum requirement applies separately to both the theory and practical/internal assessment components. If a student fails to achieve the qualifying marks in either part, they will be considered failed in that subject, regardless of their total score.
