UGC NET 2025 Answer Key Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the provisional answer key for the UGC NET June 2025 examinations on its official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the national-level eligibility test can now check the answer key, recorded responses, and question papers by logging into the portal using their credentials.
This release is an important phase in the examination cycle, as it enables candidates to evaluate their performance and estimate scores before the declaration of final results. In case of discrepancies in the provisional answers, NTA has provided an opportunity to challenge them through a structured objection process open till July 8, 2025 (up to 5:00 PM).
What’s Released and Why It Matters?
The answer key allows aspirants to cross-check the answers they submitted against the correct options as determined by the examination authority. Alongside the answer key, candidates also have access to their individual response sheets and the complete question paper.
Here’s what’s important:
Transparency and Fairness: Candidates can question any error and request corrections.
Scoring Estimate: Helps estimate probable marks and qualifying chances.
Challenge Opportunity: If discrepancies are found, candidates can submit objections with valid proof.
The objections submitted will be evaluated by a panel of subject matter experts. If found valid, corrections will be made to the answer key, and the updated (final) version will form the basis for result preparation.
