The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for the UGC NET December 2025 examination, starting from October 7. Interested candidates can complete their online registration until November 7, 2025.
However, before applying, the NTA has issued an important advisory for all candidates to review carefully. The agency has urged applicants to ensure their Aadhaar Card and Unique Disability ID (UDID) are accurate and up-to-date before beginning the registration process.
Advisory On Aadhaar Card And UDID
The NTA has stated that all candidates wishing to register for the UGC NET December exam must update their necessary documents beforehand. Specifically, the advisory notes the following:
Aadhaar Card: The candidate's name, date of birth, photograph, home address, and father's name must be correct and updated on their Aadhaar card.
UDID Card: Candidates with disabilities (Divyang) must possess a valid Unique Disability ID (UDID) card.
NTA NET Exam Schedule
With the application process now live, the NTA has announced that the UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted at various centers across the country in December 2025 and January 2026.
How To Register For UGC NET December 2025
Candidates who wish to appear for the examination can register themselves by following these steps:
- Visit the official UGC NET website.
- On the homepage, click on the 'New Registration' link.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents and your signature.
- Pay the prescribed examination fee through the online portal.
- After payment, submit the final application form.
- Be sure to download and take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
