NTA UGC NET December 2023: The National Testing Agency will release the UGC NET 2023 result and answer key for the December session soon. According to media reports, NTA is expected to announce the UGC NET December 2023 result around the first week of January 2024. Prior to the UGC NET results, a provisional answer key will be issued on the official portal. Once released, candidates will be able to check the UGC NET December 2023 result and answer key at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET 2023 December session was concluded on December 14, 2023. Now the agency will issue the UGC NET provisional answer key of the examination along with candidates' responses and question papers. Subject experts will review the candidates' feedback and, if necessary, modify or remove any of the questions from the provisional answer key. The final answer key will be uploaded on ugcnet.nta.ac.in ahead of the results. Candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable fee per question in order to provide their feedback on the provisional answer key.

In order to qualify for the NTA UGC NET exam, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 40 per cent in Paper I and Paper II (out of 100 and 200 marks respectively) for General category candidates, while OBC/PwD/SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 35 per cent in both papers. Moreover, the minimum marks to be secured are 40 in Paper I and 80 in Paper II (out of 100 and 200 marks respectively) for General category candidates, and 35 in both Paper I and Paper II for OBC/PwD/SC/ST candidates.

Step 1: Go to the official website-- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link UGC NET result 2023 on the homepage (once released)
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Candidates will have to enter the UGC NET application form number and password/date of birth on the portal and click on the submit button
Step 5: The UGC NET December 2023 Result will appear on the screen
