UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the test timetable for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 today. Applicants can view the subject-specific UGC NET 2024 timetable on the official website of NTA UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The June session of UGC NET 2024 will take place between August 21 and September 4.
UGC NET June 2024 will be held for 'grant of Junior Research Fellowship, employment as assistant professor' and admission to PhD programs. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) modality will be used to administer the exam for 83 subjects.
The exam agency stated that the UGC NET exam city slip 2024 will be released 10 days before the exam.
According to the timetable, the UGC NET exam will be held in two shifts: 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The UGC NET re-examination date for 2024 was recently declared.
The Ministry of Education cancelled the UGC NET 2024 exam, which was scheduled for June 24, citing a compromise in exam integrity. Later, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan revealed that the material had leaked on the darknet.
For the first time, the exam was conducted in two shifts on the same day. The test was originally planned for June 16 but was later moved to June 18 owing to a clash with the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) preliminary 2024.
“The notification regarding intimation of city of exam centre will be displayed on NTA websites – ugcnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in, in prior to 10 days of exam. Candidates are also advised to visit the NTA websites – www.nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.ac.in for the latest updates,” it said.
