UGC NET Result 2024 Date And Time:  The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) re-examination result for June 2024 session soon. According to media reports, UGC NET Result 2024 is expected to be released this month anytime soon. However, the official date and time are yet to be announced by the agency. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the UGC NET Result 2024 at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

In order to access the UGC NET Result 2024, candidates will have to enter their credentials details, such as their application number and date of birth, on the portal. Along with the UGC NET scores, the agency will also release the UGC NET final answer key and UGC NET cut-off.

NTA previously released the provisional answer keys for the exam. Candidates who were dissatisfied with any answer had until September 13, 2024, to raise challenges. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question was required for each challenge.

The challenges submitted by candidates would be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If any challenge is found valid, the experts will revise the responses for all candidates accordingly. The final results will be prepared and announced based on the final answer key.

UGC NET 2024: Passing Marks

Unreserved category candidates must score at least 40 percent marks, while reserved category candidates are required to achieve a minimum of 35 percent marks.

UGC NET 2024: Marking Scheme

The UGC NET exam comprises 150 questions, each carrying two marks. Candidates earn two marks for every correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. If any question is found to be incorrect and subsequently deleted, two marks will be awarded to all candidates who attempted the question.

UGC NET 2024 Result: Here's How To Download

Step 1: Go to the official website-- ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link "UGC-NET Result 2024" on the homepage (once released)

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter their required details, such as application number and date of birth on the portal

Step 4: Click on the submit button and the UGC NET 2024 Result will appear on the screen

Note: Download the UGC NET 2024 Result and take a print out for future reference.
