For multi-shift papers, applicants' raw marks from multiple shifts/sessions will be translated to an NTA score (percentile). If a subject test is administered in multiple shifts, the NTA Score will be determined based on the raw marks achieved by the applicant.

The estimated NTA Score for Raw Marks for all shifts/sessions will be combined for further processing to determine allocation. If the percentiles for the multi-shifts are dissimilar/unequal, the lowest percentile will be used to determine eligibility for every applicant in that category.

“Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final,” reads the official notice by NTA.

Along with the UGC NET Results, the NTA announces the qualifying scores for the UGC NET exam for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awards. The list of cut-off marks for different topics and categories will be accessible for applicants shortly on the official website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
