JE Education Desk: The APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Thursday released the dates of the UP BTech counselling 2023 for admission to engineering courses across the state. The registrations process will start on July 24 and conclude on August 5 for the first round of counselling. Candidates who have qualified for the joint entrance exam (JEE) main can apply at uptac.admissions.nic.in.

The NEET PG counselling process will continue with round 2 commencing on August 17, followed by round 3 on August 27, and round 4 on August 29. Round 5 will be conducted for the internal sliding of courses, while the last two rounds will be designated as special rounds for all government institutions. AKTU will open a separate online portal for Private Institutions to fill vacant seats.

"Eligible Candidates willing to participate in Counselling will have to Register Online on https://uptac.admissions.nic.in by paying a Fee of Rs 1000 (non-refundable). Upon registration, Candidate will have to upload Necessary Documents which will be verified Online by the Central Document Verification Team. On completion of Verification of the Documents, a SMS/ e-mail will be sent to ti Candidate upon receipt of such SMS the Candidate can fill Choices of Institutions & Branches as his/her eligibility. Candidates are advised to fill choices of institute branches in which they prefer to join," reads the official notification.

-Class 10 and 12 passing certificate and mark sheet.

-Domicile certificate/ Rural weightage certificate (if applicable).

-JEE Main scorecard and admit card

-Category certificate (if applicable)

-Medical certificate

-Character certificate (issued by the head of the institution last attended)

-Income certificate (for EWS candidates)
