JE Education Desk: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has postponed the exam dates for the class 10 and 12 compartment exam 2023. The details schedule will be released at upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in.

According to the official notification, the UP Board class 10th, and 12th compartment exams will now be held on July 22, 2023. Earlier the compartment exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 15, 2023. 

According to the schedule, the matric compartment exams will be held in the morning shift from  8 am to 11:15 am while the intermediate exam will be conducted in the evening shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. 

This year, as many as 44,669 candidates have registered for compartment exams, out of which 18,400 students have registered for the class 10 compartment exam and 26,269 for the class 12 compartment exam. A total of 31,16, 487 students appeared for the matric exams, and a total of 27,69,258 candidates took the inter-examination.

Students who fail one or more subjects board gives the opportunity to appear in a compartment exam to pass UP board class 10 and 12 exams. In order to pass the UP board exam candidates need to score a minimum of 35 per cent in each subject. This year, the class 10 overall pass percentage stood at 89.78 per cent, and the class 12 pass percentage recorded at 75.52 per cent.
