When Will UP Board Results Be Declared?

According to the latest updates from UPMSP officials, the result preparation process officially commenced on April 9. Typically, the board requires approximately 15 days to compile, verify and finalize the results of both 10th and 12th standard examinations. Last year, the board declared the results for both classes on April 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM through a press conference. Passing Criteria for UP Board Exams

To successfully pass the UP Board examinations, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject.   • Other notable performers included Saurabh Gangwar and Anamika with 97.20%, and Priyanshu Upadhyay, Khushi, and Supriya, all with 97%

Class 10th Toppers (2024):

  • Prachi Nigam topped the state with 98.50% marks (591/600)

  • Deepika Sonkar secured second position with 98.33% marks (590/600)

  • Navya Singh, Swati Singh, and Deepanshi Singh tied for third place with 98% marks (588/600)

Performance Comparison: Boys vs Girls

In the 2024 UP Board examinations, girls outperformed boys significantly. The pass percentage for female students in Class 12th was 88.42%, noticeably higher than their male counterparts. The overall pass percentage was 77.78%, highlighting the superior performance of girl students across the state.

Districts With Lowest Pass Percentages

While many districts showed excellent results in the 2024 examinations, some regions reported lower pass percentages. Lalitpur recorded the lowest pass rate at 77.50%, followed by Sonbhadra at 81.66% and Kheri district at 81.84%. Education authorities are implementing special measures to improve performance in these regions for the current academic year.
