UPSC CDS Final Result 2024 Out: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final results for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (2) 2024 on its official website, upsc.gov.in. A total of 349 candidates have been chosen for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Air Force Academy (AFA), based on their performance in the written exam and the subsequent interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
Earlier, the commission prepared separate merit lists for the IMA, INA, and AFA, with certain candidates appearing on more than one list. As stated in the official notification:
- 2,534 candidates successfully passed the IMA written examination.
- 900 candidates were successful in the INA written test.
- 613 candidates qualified for the AFA written examination.

Step 1: Visit the official UPSC website at https://upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate the "Examination" tab in the top navigation menu.
Step 3: Select either "Active Examinations" or "Results" from the dropdown options.
Step 4: Look for the link of the CDS (2) 2024 Result.
Step 5: Identify the notification labeled Final Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024.
Step 6: Click on the link to continue.
Step 7: Download the PDF Merit List.
