Civil Services Examination 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notification 2026 will be released tomorrow, January 14, 2026, on upsc.gov.in. The Union Public Service Commission will release the official UPSC CSE Notification 2026 for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026, initiating the application process for recruitment into India's most prestigious administrative services.

This annual notification will contain complete information regarding vacancies, eligibility criteria, examination schedule, and service allocation for positions such as IAS, IPS, IFS, and other Group A, Group B services conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

When will the UPSC CSE 2026 exam be held?

According to the official UPSC Calendar 2026-27, the CSE Prelims 2026 will officially be held on May 24, 2026, and the Mains written examination will commence on August 21, 2026.

In the previous cycle (CSE 2025), UPSC announced 979 vacancies. The final and exact number of vacancies for UPSC CSE 2026 will be available only after the official notification is released on upsc.gov.in.
