UPSC IAS 2024 Exam: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the civil services examination preliminary (CSE Prelims 2024) tomorrow, June 16, in two shifts. UPSC prelims 2024 first shift test will be conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for general studies paper 1 and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for general studies paper 2 (CSAT). Both papers 1 and 2 will include objective-type questions. Paper 1 will have 100 questions, and paper 2 will have 80 questions, both worth 200 points each.
The UPSC Prelims Admit Card 2024 was made available on June 7, 2024, and applicants can get it from the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. The IAS exam will take place offline at 79 exam centres.
Applicants must bring all necessary documentation to the exam hall. This consists of the UPSC CSE admit card 2024, two passport-size pictures, and an appropriate government-issued photo ID, such as an original Aadhaar card, driver's license, voter identification card, PAN card, passport, or any other photo ID proof.
UPSC IAS Prelims 2024: Exam day guidelines
- Applicants should bring a printout of their UPSC IAS 2024 e-admit cards and double-check it for accuracy.
- It should be understood that any errors in filling out the OMR sheet, particularly concerning the roll number and test booklet series code, would result in the rejection of the UPSC prelims 2024 answer sheet.
- Aspirants ought to be at the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time to minimize last-minute hassles.
- Applicants are not permitted to bring personal belongings or electronics inside the examination hall. If these devices or things are discovered, their candidacy will be revoked.
