UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday started the application process for Senior Administrative Officer, Aeronautical Officer, and other posts. The last date to apply will be August 10. Eligible and interested candidates can apply at upsc.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up 56 vacant seats in the organisation.
Aeronautical Officer: 26 vacancies
Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II: 20 vacancies
Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer: 1 Vacancy
Scientist ‘B’: 7 vacancies
Assistant Geophysicist: 2 vacancies
Total: 56 vacancies.

UPSC Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 25, which can be done through any branch of the SBI by cash, or by utilizing the net banking facility of any bank, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. However, SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempted from the application fee payment.
UPSC Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Aeronautical Officer: Candidates need a degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University. Also, applicants should have two years of experience in aircraft design and development, which can include aircraft electrical, electronics, mechanical systems, or airworthiness engineering.
Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer: Candidates need a degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology or Masters Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology or Pass the final examination of the institution of surveyors in sub-division.
Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II: Candidates need a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution. Three years of experience in administration or establishment or accounts work.
Scientist ‘B’ in Botanical Survey of India: Candidates need a master’s degree in Science in the required Discipline (i.e. Botany/Horticulture/Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University or equivalent.
Assistant Geophysicist in Geological Survey of India: Candidates need a master’s degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute; or BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.
