WBCAP Merit List 2025: The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBSCHE) is all set to release the WBCAP Merit List 2025 for the first phase of UG admissions under the West Bengal Centralised Admission Process (WBCAP) today, August 7, 2025 on their official website. Those candidates who are eligible will be able to check their seat allotment status on the official portal – wbcap.in.
WBCAP Merit List 2025: UG Admission
Those students who have successfully registered for the WBCAP UG Admissions 2025 must verify their merit rank when it's released on the website and allotted seats by logging into the portal. Those assigned seats must complete the admission formalities within the given period of deadline to confirm their seats and admissions.
The WBCAP 1st Phase Merit List 2025 will be prepared based on candidates' performance in their Class 12 or equivalent examinations. This merit list will include the names of shortlisted candidates along with their allotted colleges and courses.

Step 1. The students must required to visit the official website – www.wbcap.in
Step 2. There will be a section for “Student Login” available on the homepage.
Step 3. A new window will open on the screen where students have to enter their details such as User ID and Password.
Step 4. Check your dashboard for seat allotment details (college, course, merit rank).
Step 5. Download the list and print the allotment letter for future reference.
Step 6. Complete the online admission process before the deadline published by the board.
WBCAP Merit List 2025: Further Steps
Those candidates who will be allotted seats in the WBCAP Merit List 2025 must follow these steps:
1. Firstly, students have to pay the seat acceptance fee online via Debit/Card, Net Banking, UPI, or QR Code.
2. Then, students have to download the provisional admission slip from the student dashboard.
3. After that, they must report to the allotted college or institute within the given deadline for the document verification process.
