WBCHSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 Guidelines: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has issued important instructions and guidelines for the WB HS examination 2026. The board will conduct the WBCHSE Class 12 Supplementary Semester 3 and Semester 4 examinations from February 12 to 27, 2026. WBCHSE Class 12 Exam 2026: Exam Guidelines

1. According to the New Guidelines issued by WBCHSE, the Admit card for Semester-IV and Semester-III Supplementary Examination, 2026 will be issued to the examinees through online mode only. The Head of the Institutions can download and print the admit cards of their students by visiting the Council's Portal using their Login IDs and Passwords. The Admit Card for the Higher Secondary Examination, 2026, under the old system, will be distributed offline through camps on 28.01.2026.

2. The examinees will be allowed to enter into the venue/hall and appear in the examination, only with a valid admit card, duly countersigned by the concerned Head of the Institutions. They should also bring registration certificates and blue/black ink pens with them. The examinees may also carry a pencil, a pencil eraser, a sharpener, a ruler, etc., in the transparent pouch along with a transparent water bottle and a transparent clipboard in the examination hall for their use. Borrowing of any such items from any other examinees will not be allowed.

3.  The examinees are prohibited from bringing any printed or written textual material, piece of paper, any other pouches, calculator [please see the point 1. d) below], pen drives, writing pad, log table, electronic pen /scanner, mobile phones, bluetooth ear phones, microphones, pager, smart watch, camera, goggles, meta glasses, bag/ handbags, health band, any other electronic device/gadget, etc. into the examination venue/hall. Examinees can carry an analogue watch (not a smart watch) in the examination hall for their use.

4. Only the examinees of Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 under the Old System may bring and use the calculator (enabling normal calculations with trigonometric, exponential & logarithmic functions) in the examination hall.

5. Generally, no examinee will be allowed to appear in the examination in any of the subject (s) that are not mentioned in the admit card. But in an urgent situation, the Centre-in-Charge, Centre Secretary and Venue Supervisor may discuss the matter with the Deputy Secretaries of the respective Regional Offices of the Council.

6.  Only a blue or black ballpoint pen can be used in writing/filling the OMR of Semester-III Supplementary Examination. Use of a gel pen or a fountain pen is not permitted to write any particular or darken the circles on the OMR sheet.

7. OMR sheet should be handled very carefully, so that it does not get folded, wet, torn and dirty, which may lead to the cancellation of the examination.

8. No rough work should be done on the OMR sheet.

9. Space for rough work for Semester-III Supplementary Examination will be provided in the question paper booklet, and for Semester-IV Examination & H.S. Examination under the Old System, rough work is to be done in the answer script booklet itself.

10.  The examinees should report to the venue as per the schedule. Parents/guardians may accompany them up to the main entrance of the venue, but they must leave the place at least 15 minutes before. before the commencement of the examination.
