West Bengal School Summer Holidays 2024: The summer vacation dates for schools in West Bengal for 2024 have been announced, with modifications made to accommodate the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Schools in various districts will experience an extended closure period, resulting in a total extension of the vacation by 12 days.
The Lok Sabha elections 2024 in West Bengal are set to be conducted across seven phases. In view of this, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has carefully organised the school holiday calendar to synchronise with the electoral process.
According to the notification, in Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, and Jalpaiguri districts, educational institutions are set to be closed from April 16 to 20. Similarly, in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, North Dinajpur, and South Dinajpur districts, schools will be closed from April 24 to 27. Throughout these designated periods, all academic activities will be suspended.
The summer vacation for schools in West Bengal this year will start on May 6, and schools will open on June 2, offering a total of 22 days break, excluding public holidays and Sundays. Throughout this period, all classes will remain suspended.

Delhi School Summer Holidays Announced
The Delhi government has also announced the summer vacation for the academic year 2024-25. The summer vacation for Delhi schools will commence on May 11 and conclude on June 30, 2024, providing a total break of 51 days.
West Bengal Board Exam Results 2024 For Class 10th 12th Soon
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has held the WB Class 10 exams 2024 from February 2 to 12, 2024, and the West Bengal Class 12 exams 2024 were conducted from February 16 to 29, 2024. According to media reports, currently, the evaluation process is underway. The WB Class 10 result 2024 is expected to be announced in May, and the WB class 12 result 2024 is expected to be released in the last week of this month. However, the official date and time is yet to be confirmed by the board. Once released, candidates will be able to check the West Bengal Board exam results 2024 at wbresults.nic.in.
