Andy Byron is currently serving as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) in Astronomer, a data infrastructure company that helps the businesses and startups in managing their business pipelines. As per the LinkedIn profile of Andy Byron, he has completed his graduation and earned his degree from the prestigious Providence College, a well-known Catholic liberal arts college in Providence, Rhode Island, whereas his schooling days information has not been disclosed.
The Providence College was started in the year1917 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence and the Dominican Order. It is quite popular for its severe academic offerings. Providence College is ranked #3 out of 171 Regional Universities North, as per the US News and World Report rankings.

If we talk about his initial career highlights, Andy Byron has served in various senior positions at companies like Lacework, Cybereason, Fuze, BMC Software, BladeLogic and VeriCenter before becoming the CEO of Astronomer. Andy Byron started his career in the year 2015 at Fuze, went on to play crucial responsibilities at Cybereason and Lacework, and now serving as a CEO of Astronomer since 2023, he played an important role in driving growth in Apache Airflow and data engineering.
He was the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Cybereason, being responsible for leading its global sales and channel team, under his leadership the sales improved a lot. The company established a global presence in the EPP market and attained a growth from five million Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to over 70 million ARR with a 1 billion valuation during his tenure as Chief Revenue Officer.
Andy Byron’s Personal Life:
Astronomer CEO Andy Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, who is an Associate Director at Bancroft School. They reportedly live in New York with their two children.
