Winter Vacations For School: The Haryana education department has scheduled a winter holiday in schools from January 1 to January 15, 2025, according to the government's social media posts. Beginning January 16, 2025, the schools will resume physical education classes.
“The Haryana Education Department has issued orders that all schools in the state will have winter vacations from January 1 to January 15. The schools will reopen on January 16, 2025,” the Department of Public Relations wrote in a post on X.

The school education department updated the winter school schedules for both single-shift and double-shift schools in November, beginning with the 2024-25 academic year. According to the new school schedule, single-shift schools will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the winter. In the case of a double-shift school, the first shift will run from 7:55 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the second shift will run from 12:40 p.m.

Rajasthan School Winter Vacation 2024
The winter break for the 2024-25 session in Rajasthan is scheduled to run from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025. However, these dates may change depending on the School Education Department's statements.
Delhi Winter Vacation 2024
Delhi schools will remain closed from January 1 to January 15, 2025. Furthermore, schools will be closed on Christmas Day (December 25th). These dates are subject to change in the event of extreme weather.
Uttar Pradesh Winter Vacation 2024
Schools in Uttar Pradesh are anticipated to take a holiday from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025. However, the authorities have yet to confirm these dates.
Jammu and Kashmir Winter Vacation 2024
Schools in Jammu and Kashmir will be closed till February 2025, up to Class 5. The winter vacation for students in grades 6–12 began on December 16, 2024, and will end on February 28, 2025.
Punjab Winter Vacation 2024
The Punjab Education Department has already declared the winter break from December 24 and last until December 31, 2024. Depending on the weather, the vacation could be prolonged.
Bihar Winter Vacation 2024
According to media reports, Bihar's winter vacation is scheduled to run from December 25 to December 31, 2024.
