18:45 hours: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to retain power in Goa for the third consecutive term.
16:08 hours: "I don't know, it's a sensitive question," says BJP leader Vishwajit Rane on being asked if Pramod Sawant will continue as the CM.
13:48 hours: "We had thought that we will win but we have to accept the people's mandate. We have got 12 seats, BJP has got 18 seats. We will work strongly as the opposition. Congress will have to work hard to win the confidence of people," Congress leader Michael Lob
13:28 hours: BJP and Congress win 1 seat each and lead on 18 and 10 respectively as per official EC trends.

08:07 hours: Counting for Goa Assembly Election 2022 starts. Counting of postal ballots taken up
07:53 hours: Health minister Vishwajit Rane arrives at Panaji at counting centre
07:42 hours: "The strong rooms have just been opened in the presence of candidates&observers. Postal ballots will be taken to the counting halls through a dedicated corridor of security personnel. Counting for South Goa will be done at Damodar College," Collector Ruchika Katiyal
