A Congress worker on whom there was an alleged molestation attempt at a Congress rally in Haryana during campaigning earlier, in a video released by Haryana Congress says, "Deepender Hooda had come for an event. Some mischievous elements are making fake IDs using my name and commenting against my uncle & Congress candidate Jassi Petwar. Please don't use my name. I am entirely with Congress. It can be seen that I was standing right next to my uncle Jassi Petwar. I stand with him and support him.",

During Haryana's voting day, an incident of misconduct involving Congress worker Sonia Duhan sparked outrage. Congress MP Kumari Selja expressed her displeasure over the mistreatment faced by Duhan on stage.

Selja said, "I spoke with Sonia Duhan, and she told me that some individuals were touching her inappropriately and attempting to remove her from the stage. We observed the same behaviour in the video, and when I asked her to confirm, she stated that she had indeed faced misconduct."

She further added, "If such an incident can happen to a woman today, it is utterly condemnable. Action must be taken against it."

Mahavir Singh Phogat lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after casting his vote in the Haryana Assembly elections. He acknowledged the strides made by the party in the state over the last decade, stating, "In the past ten years, the poor have received housing, farmers have been compensated, and overall, the BJP's governance has been good for Haryana."

Phogat also addressed his niece Vinesh Phogat's recent entry into politics, making it clear that her decision was entirely personal and not influenced by the family. He explained that although he initially intended to greet her upon her return from the Olympics, a social media post changed the circumstances. He reiterated, "Her decision to enter politics is her own. We, as a family, have nothing to do with it. I've supported her throughout her journey, but her path forward is now her choice."

Haryana Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Ladwa assembly seat Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Congress. Exuding that BJP will register a huge win in Haryana, Saini said that the amount of work we have done in the last 10 years, even 7 generations of Congress will not be able to do that much work. 

A clash broke out between the supporters of Congress candidate from Punahana Mohammad Ilyas and independent candidate Raees Khan earlier today in Nuh. A video, which surfaced on the internet, showed two groups of people pelting stones at each other. ,

Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: Polling was disrupted for a long time at booth number 183 in Bawal reserved constituency due to an EVM malfunction. Voting resumed after informing senior officials and fixing the issue.

Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 LIVE: A fight broke out between the supporters of former finance minister and BJP candidate Captain Abhimanyu and Congress candidate Jassi Petwar in Khanda Khedi village of Hisar.

Haryana Assembly Elections 2024:  By 1 PM, voter turnout data revealed that Mewat had the highest participation rate at 42.64%, closely followed by Yamunanagar with 42.08%, and Jind at 41.93%. On the other hand, Panchkula registered the lowest turnout so far, with only 25.89%.

Rewari District Sees Varied Participation Levels

In Rewari district, 35.10% of eligible voters had cast their ballots by early afternoon. Kosli led the three assembly constituencies in the district with a turnout of 37.70%, while Bawal recorded the lowest at 33.60%.

Mahendragarh's Turnout Update

In Mahendragarh district, 38.20% of voters had participated by 1 PM. The highest turnout was observed in the Mahendragarh constituency at 40.40%, whereas Nangal Chaudhary reported a slightly lower turnout of 37%.

Haryana Elections LIVE: Haryana nodal poll officer Manish Kumar Lohan said that so far 25 per cent votes have been cast and the they are hoping for over 75 per cent polling in the state.

After casting his vote at a booth in Rohtak, Former Haryana CM and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said "Congress aa rahi hain, BJP jaa rahi hain Haryana mein" which translates to "BJP is going and Congress is coming in Haryana."

Haryana Polls LIVE: A video on social media showed some people engaged in a scuffle at a polling booth in Dhokhera village of Nangal Chaudhary in Haryana. Allegedly, Congress supporters tried a booth capture however when they were stopped by locals, a scuffle broke out.

Former Haryana CM and INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala on Saturday recorded his vote for the ongoing assembly polls and said that INLD will form government in the state.

"Aditya Chautala (INLD candidate from Dabwali constituency) will win from here with a good margin," he added. 

Haryana Assembly Polls Live: In a unique showcase, BJP MP and industrialist Naveen Jindal took a horse ride to the polling station in Kurukshetra where he polled his vote. 

Haryana Polls: The former Haryana Minister and BJP's Ambala candidate Anil Vij cast his vote on Saturday and said that if the party wins, he would lay his claim to the Chief Ministership in the state.

Former Haryana Minister and Independent candidate from Rania Assembly seat, Ranjit Singh Chautala cast his vote at a polling station in Sirsa on Saturday.

Haryana Polls LIVE: Independent candidate from the Hisar constituency, Savitri Jindal showed her inked finger after casting her vote at a polling booth in Hisar.

"I have cast my vote. This is the election of the people of Hisar, everyone should vote. I will try to make Hisar beautiful and developed," she said.

Haryana Elections LIVE: BJP MP Kiran Choudhry, along with her daughter, who is a saffron candidate from the Tosham Assembly seat of Bhiwani, Shruti Choudhry cast their votes for Haryana Assembly Elections on Saturday. 

Congress MP in Haryana and one of the key contenders for the Chief Ministerial berth, Kumari Selja on Saturday said that the party's high command makes these decisions. 

"At the end of the day, our party high command makes decisions... Today's fight will change the fate of Haryana. Although this a one-sided contest... BJP is ready to welcome me because they are already very weak. They will do anything to have strong leaders with them... We will win all 90 seats," she said.

Haryana Polls 2024: Indian National Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday posted a message on X for the people of Haryana.

Farmers, employees, youth, wrestlers, mothers-sisters, traders, deprived sections - all have suffered the atrocities of 10 years of misrule. In this misrule, you have been made to cry tears of blood by snatching away your jobs, income, pension, ration. Every single blow of the lathis on the bodies of the people of Haryana is a witness to 10 years of tyrannical rule," she said.

Haryana Assembly Polls 2024 LIVE Updates:  Haryana CM and BJP's candidate from Ladwa assembly seat, Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday said that his party will win a third term in the state with a huge margin.

"We are winning and forming our government for the third time with a huge margin.
