The counting of votes is underway in Madhya Pradesh. According to the latest trends by the Election Commission of India (ECI) at 03:20 PM, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently leading in the state with 164 seats. Out of the five major constituencies in the state, the saffron party is leading in Indore, Guna, Gwalior, and Narsinghpur, and the grand old party is leading from Chhindwara. Let's take a look at the live updates of these five assemblies:
Guna Vote Counting
- In Guna, Panna Lal Shakya of BJP is leading by over 9,000 votes. Congress' Pankaj Kaneriya has won 22273 votes, as of 2:57 PM.
- As of 13:30 PM, Panna Lal Shakya is ahead from Congress' Pankaj Kaneriya by 19, 425 votes.
- In Guna, BJP'S Panna Lal Shakya is leading by over 5,000 votes. Meanwhile, Congress' Pankaj Kaneriya has got over 1,000 votes so far.
Narsinghgarh Vote Counting
- In Narsinghgarh Mohan Sharma of BJP is leading by over 21,000 votes. Congress' Girish Bhandari has won 51374 votes, as of 2:53 PM.
- BJP's Mohan Sharma leads by over 11,ooo votes, followed by Congress' Girish Bhandari who has so far received over 30,000 votes.
- Mohan Sharma of the Bharatiya Janata Party is currently leading from the seat with over 22,000 votes. Meanwhile, Congress' Girish Bhandari is in the second position with over 14,000 votes, according to the latest ECI trends.
Gwalior Vote Counting
- In Gwalior Pradhuman Singh Tomar of BJP is leading by over 9,000 votes. Congress' Sunil Sharma has won 41027 votes, as of 2:53 PM.
- BJP's Pradhuman Singh Tomar is ahead by over 3,000 votes, and Congress' Sunil Sharma follows with 17,842 votes.
- Pradhuman Singh Tomar of the BJP is leading in Gwalior by over 2,000 votes. Meanwhile, Congress' Sunil Sharma has so far registered over 5,000 votes.
Indore 1 Vote Counting
- In Indore 1, Kailash Vijayvargiya of BJP is leading by over 28,000 votes. Congress' Sanjay Shukla has won 44636 votes, as of 03:00 PM.
- As of 12:30 PM, Kailash Vijayvargiya has got 44,436 votes, meanwhile, Sanjay Shukla has received 20,679 votes.
- In Indore 1, Kailash Vijayvargiya of BJP is leading by over 8,000 votes. Congress' Sanjay Shukla has registered more than 8,000 votes.
Indore 2 Vote Counting
- In Indore 1, Ramesh Mendola of BJP is leading by over 77,000 votes. Congress' Chintu Choukse has won 49,297 votes, as of 03:03 PM.
- In Indore 2, BJP's Ramesh Mendola is ahead by over 41,000 votes, Chintu Choukse of Congress so far received 27614 votes, as of 12:43 PM.
- BJP's Ramesh Mendola is ahead by over 2,000 votes, while Congress' Chintu Choukse is on the second position and has so far registered 17,979 votes.
Indore 3 Vote Counting
- BJP's Golu Shukla Rakesh is ahead by over 11,000 votes, while Congress' Deepak Mahesh Joshi is on the second position and has so far registered 51625 votes, as of 03:06 PM.
- In Indore 3, BJP's Golu Shukla Rakesh is ahead by over 2,000 votes, Deepak Mahesh Joshi of Congress so far received 21607 votes, as of 12:43 PM.
- BJP's Golu Shukla Rakesh is ahead by over 4,000 votes, while Congress' Deepak Mahesh Joshi is on the second position and has so far registered 15,834 votes.
Indore 4 Vote Counting
- In Indore 4, BJP's Malini Laxmansingh Gaur is ahead by over 69,000 votes, Congress' PL Raja so far received 47,931 votes, as of 03: 11 PM.
- In Indore 4, BJP's Malini Laxmansingh Gaur is ahead by over 21,000 votes, Congress' PL Raja so far received 16523 votes, as of 12:43 PM.
- In Indore 4, Malini Laxmansingh Gaur of the BJP is leading by over 14,000 votes. Congress' PL Raja Mandhwani has registered more than 14,000 votes.
Indore 5 Vote Counting
- Congress' Satyanarayan of Congress s ahead by nearly 9,000 votes, and BJP's Mahendra Hardia has received 60,411 votes, as of 03:14 PM.
- BJP's Mahendra Hardia is ahead by over 16,000 votes, and Congress' Satyanarayan so far received 20,250 votes, as of 12:43 PM.
- In Indore 5, Mahendra Hardia of BJP is leading by over 12,000 votes. Congress' Satyanarayan Rameshwar Patel has registered more than 15,000 votes.
Chhindwara Vote Counting
- Kamal Nath is now leading with nearly 1,00,000 votes, meanwhile, Congress' Vivek Bunty Sahu is behind by over 23,000 votes, as of 03:16 PM.
- Kamal Nath is now leading with over 51,000 votes, meanwhile, Congress' Vivek Bunty Sahu is behind by over 13,000 votes, as of 12:27 PM.
- Former CM and Congress' State President Kamal Nath is leading from the Chhindwara constituency. BJP's Vivek Bunty Sahu has so far got over 17,000 votes and is on the second position.
