Melukote is one of the 224 assembly constituencies in Karnataka. It is a seat in the General Assembly category. It is located in the Mandya district and serves as one of the eight assembly divisions of the Mandya Parliament Seat.
This year for the Karnataka Election, Melukote Vidhan Sabha constituency will witness a contest between C S Puttaraju from Janta Dal (Secular) JD(S), Darshan Puttannaiah from Sarvodaya Karnataka Party and Lndresh Kumar from Bhartiya Janta Party BJP. Also, out of 224 seats, the winning party must have at least 113 to form the government of Karnataka.
