According to the Election Commission of India, Manoj Tiwari secured 82445 votes, while Kumar, making his electoral debut secured 685673 votes. The Northeast Delhi parliamentary constituency, which includes 10 assembly segments, witnessed a voter turnout of 59.51 per cent on May 25, as part of the sixth phase of the 2024 general elections.

Manoj Tiwari, a two-time incumbent MP, has held the seat since 2014 and has steadily increased his vote share over the years, from 45 per cent in 2014 to 54 per cent in 2019. Despite the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) dominance in the local assembly segments, Manoj Tiwari has managed to maintain a firm grip on the Lok Sabha seat. The constituency, which has a Hindu majority with a Muslim population of around 21 per cent, has proven to be a crucial battleground for both the BJP and the opposition alliance. Tiwari's victory is a testament to the party's continued influence in the national capital, even as the political landscape continues to evolve.
