Kota North Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: The elections to the 200 Assembly constituencies in Rajasthan will be held in a single phase on November 25. The results will be declared on December 3. Earlier, the poll body had announced November 23 as the polling day, however, the date was revised by the election body citing weddings and 'social engagements' on that day.
Kota North constituency is one of the 200 Legislative Assembly constituencies in the poll-bound Rajasthan. It is a part of the Kota district of the state and is one of eight assembly constituencies in Kota. The state is currently ruled by the Ashok Gehlot-led government.
Kota North Assembly Election 2018:
In the 2018 Kota North Assembly election, Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of the Congress won the seat by defeating Prahlad Gunjal of the BJP with a margin of 17,945 votes. Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of the Congress received as many as 94,728 votes and the vote rate was 53.00 per cent. While Prahlad Gunjal of the BJP who was the runner-up in the contest received 76,783 votes and the voting rate was 43.00 per cent.

Kota North Assembly Election 2013:
In the 2013 Kota North Assembly election, Prahlad Gunjal of the BJP won the seat against Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of the Congress with a margin of 14,861 votes. Prahlad Gunjal of BJP received as many as 79,295 votes and the vote rate was 49.00 per cent. Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of Congress who was the runner-up in the contest, received 64,434 votes and the voting rate was 40.00 per cent.
Kota North Assembly Election 2008:
In the 2008 Kota North Assembly election, Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of the Congress won the seat against Suman Shringi of the BJP by a margin of 21,731 votes. Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of the Congress received as many as 68,560 votes and the voting rate was 55.00 per cent while Suman Shringi of the BJP received as many as 46,829 votes and the voting rate was 38 per cent.
