Jigra will make its digital debut on December 6. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in lead roles. Jigra was theatrically released worldwide on 11 October 2024, coinciding with Vijayadashami, to mixed reviews from critics and underperformed at the box office.

The next most awaited release in December is Mismatched Season 3. The Netflix romance series starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf resumes with the duo rekindling their relationship on a new campus in Hyderabad. As they navigate love, technology, and their dreams, they must confront the challenges of balancing their real and virtual lives.

Squid Game Season 2 is also gearing up for its much-anticipated release. Squid Game revolves around a perilous game where desperate players put their lives on the line for a chance to claim a staggering multimillion-dollar prize. Mufasa: The Lion King, an upcoming American musical drama film, is directed by Barry Jenkins and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The photorealistically animated film serves as both a prequel and sequel to the 2019 remake of the classic 1994 film. The star-studded cast features returning talents Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, John Kani and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, while new additions include Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Mads Mikkelsen, among others. Notably, the film also marks the feature film debut of Blue Ivy Carter.

Varun Dhawan-starrer upcoming action movie Baby John is also gearing up for its release. The movie will hit the theatres on December 25 and stars Varun Dhawan in the title role, alongside Keerthy Suresh (In her Hindi film debut) Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff, and is produced under Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios and A for Apple Productions.
