Aadujeevitham
Aadujeevitham is a 2024 Malayalam survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. It is based on Benyamin's best-selling 2008 Malayalam novel of the same name, which recounts the true story of Najeeb, a Malayali labourer enslaved in Saudi Arabia as a goatherd. The international co-production involves Indian and American companies. Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul in lead roles, with Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan in supporting roles, the film faced bans in GCC countries initially, later lifted except in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia where the novel also faced previous bans. The movie is expected to arrive on OTT in July end or August first week.
Garudan
Garudan is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, based on a story by Vetrimaaran. It is produced by Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company and K. Kumar's Lark Studios. The movie stars Soori, M. Sasikumar, and Unni Mukundan in lead roles, with Roshini Haripriyan, Sshivada, Revathi Sharma, Samuthirakani, Vadivukkarasi, R. V. Udayakumar, and Mime Gopi in supporting roles. The story revolves around Sokkan, a trusted friend of Aadhi and Karuna, whose loyalty is tested by betrayal and survival.
Garudan is all set to have its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video on June 3, 2024.
Malayalee From India
Malayalee from India is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Dijo Jose Antony and written by Sharis Mohammed. Produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, the film features Nivin Pauly, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles, with Deepak Jethi and Shine Tom Chacko in supporting roles. The soundtrack for the movie was composed by Jakes Bejoy.
Malayalee from India will make its OTT debut on Sony LIV on July 5, 2024.
Maharaja
Maharaja is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, who also co-wrote the dialogues with Raam Murali. It is produced by Passion Studios, The Route, and Think Studios. The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, with Anurag Kashyap, Sachana Namidass, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Manikandan, Singampuli, and Bharathiraja in supporting roles. The story revolves around a barber who reports his "Lakshmi" missing after a home robbery, leading to suspicions about his true intentions by the police.
Maharaja will start streaming on Netflix from July 19, 2024.
Turbo
Turbo is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Produced by Mammootty under Mammootty Kampany, the film stars Mammootty in the lead role, with Raj B. Shetty, Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Niranjana Anoop, Bindu Panicker, Dileesh Pothan, and Shabareesh Varma in supporting roles. The music is composed by Christo Xavier, with cinematography by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Shameer Muhammed.
Turbo is expected to arrive on Sony LIV in July 2024.
