Park Sung-Hoon, a South Korean actor, has gained notoriety since playing a transgender character in Squid Game 2. The actor has once again been the target of online fury after garnering a lot of accolades for his role in the second season of the Korean show.
Park Sung-Hoon recently reposted explicit content on his social media handle. He shared a picture of an adult film (AV) spoof of Squid Game on his Instagram account on December 30. The aforementioned picture depicted Japanese AV actresses parodying the show while being naked.
The post was made soon after the horrific crash of the Jeju Air flight in South Korea, which claimed the lives of 179 out of 181 passengers. Many victims were K-pop fans who had just returned from Bangkok for the 2024 Asia Artist Awards. The tragic incident led to national mourning in South Korea.

His agency did, however, confirm that Park shared the post by mistake. Park Sung-Hoon accidentally published the picture while reviewing the many direct messages he received, according to a BH Entertainment spokesman. The actor apologised for the mistake and promised to exercise greater caution going forward.
The statement issued by the agency read, "Park Sung-hoon received many DMs on social media and accidentally uploaded it while checking DMs. The actor himself is also surprised and apologises for making such a mistake in these times. He will be careful not to let something like this happen again."
