Dhurandhar 2 AI Poster Controversy: Dhurandhar The Revenge has been hit by a wave of digital misconduct. Director Aditya Dhar has issued a public statement after a controversial ai poster of lead star Ranveer Singh began circulating online. The image, which shows the character in Sikh attire while smoking, has caused significant outrage, but the filmmaker insists it is a malicious fake.
Is Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 Sikh Poster Real Or Fake?
The controversy began when Sardar Gurjyot Singh, president of the 'Sikhs in Maharashtra' organisation, filed a police complaint at Mumbai’s Mulund Station. The group alleged that the image, which depicts the character wearing a turban and a kada while holding a cigarette, deeply hurts Sikh religious sentiments. In response, Aditya Dhar clarified that the visual is entirely AI-generated and not part of the film's official marketing.

Aditya Dhar took to Instagram and stated, "It has come to my attention that certain individuals are circulating manipulated visuals by morphing officially released promotional material using artificial intelligence to create false and misleading narratives." Addressing the specific image, he added, "One such fabricated image falsely depicts the character Hamza/Jaskirat smoking while wearing a turban. This is completely untrue and does not form part of the film or any official material released by us. It is a deliberate act of misrepresentation intended to provoke and create mischief."

Aditya Dhar emphasised his deep respect for the Sikh community, noting that the character's background as Jaskirat Singh Rangi was handled with utmost sensitivity. "Any attempt to suggest otherwise through doctored content is malicious and dishonest," he wrote, adding that "such acts will be dealt with firmly."
