South India's heartthrob Akhil Akkineni is back with an intense action film 'Agent', which is one of the most anticipated movies from Tollywood. The actor is caught in action in a never seen before action avatar catching the attention of his fans.

On Tuesday, the first official trailer of the film was unveiled which looks promising to be high on action. Akhil Akkineni can be seen playing the role of a rogue agent in the film, committed to serving the nation.

The trailer shows the actor on an intense mission filled with action sequences which are a visual treat and are filled with punches and also reveal his beast body. Appealing to the audience, many South Indian actors also appreciated his new look and heaped praises for him.

Akhil Akkineni's brother, Naga Chaitanya, tok to Twitter and reacted to the trailer, where he wrote, "Big brother! Love you …. Thank youuuu. All the best for custody." On the other hand, actor Sai Dharam Tej also complimented the star and wrote, "My dear Captain A @AkhilAkkineni8 …you are looking wild and it's so refreshing to see you in thisavatar…more love and happiness to you …may the force be with you and your whole team especially to our sweetheart producer @AnilSunkara1 garu and the wild and highly visioned director @DirSurender garu …all the best to the whole team of #Agent."

Actor Adivi Sesh also shared his thoughts on Twitter and praised his action sequences and top-notch punching skills. Akhil Akkineni finally broke the image of his chocolate boy era and has finally entered his rowdy look.

The physical transformation the actor went through brought justice to his role in the film, as he had to drop a massive amount of weight and also followed a strict fitness regime to maintain his body.

'Agent' is helmed by filmmaker Surender Reddy and also features superstar Mammootty. The film has Sakshi Vaidya as the lead female in the film, whereas 'Agent' is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara.
