The much-anticipated acting debut of Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor in Zoya Akhtar's Netflix film, 'The Archies,' premiered on December 7. A special screening in Mumbai drew various celebrities, including the entire Bachchan family, extending support to Agastya. After the release, Netflix India's official Instagram shared a video featuring Bollywood celebrities sharing their views on the film, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The caption for the video read, "Sunoh, first reactions are in. Our favorite stars being starry-eyed after The Archies premiere last night."
Aishwarya extended her congratulations, saying, "Wonderful and huge congratulations to the entire team." Abhishek Bachchan reminisced about the nostalgia the film evoked, remarking, "It took us back in time. You know we all grew up reading Archies. We were transported back to our youth." Aishwarya and Abhishek were joined by daughter Aaradhya as well as Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda and Shweta Bachchan at the screening.

Hrithik Roshan said, "So good yaar. Such sweetness, the vulnerability and the honesty, the music, the dance, I was dancing. I loved it." Katrina Kaif added, "I think we are all the biggest Zoya Akhtar fans. She is such a versatile director. Everything she touches is gold." Next, Janhvi Kapoor expressed her excitement about her sister Khushi's film, stating, "It teaches us so many lessons about life. It's so nostalgic and amazing, and I can't wait for the world to see it."
Bhumi Pednekar added her praise, saying, "Vava voom, it was such fun, such a beautiful world. Only Zoya could do it." Additionally, Pooja Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Ananya Panday also shared their thoughts on the film.

About 'The Archies'
The film revolves around 17-year-old students as they navigate the ups and downs of school life while discovering their personal aspirations. It's an Indian adaptation of Riverdale, focusing on the Anglo-Indian community. The narrative introduces Archie (played by Agastya), portrayed as an ambitious character. Betty (portrayed by Khushi) is depicted as a kind and generous girl who harbors feelings for Archie, while Veronica (portrayed by Suhana Khan) stands in contrast as a wealthy individual recently returned from London.
It is a Netflix musical drama that endeavours to breathe life into the beloved classic comic characters, delving into themes of friendship, love, and youthful defiance within the picturesque landscape of Riverdale.
