Aishwarya Rai recently attended the prestigious Global Women's Forum event in Dubai. The actress's appearance at the event has been the talk of the town. But what raised the eyebrows of netizens was when her name appeared without ‘Bachchan’ surname. This sparked the divorce rumours of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan, which has been going on for a couple of months. Both the stars have maintained their dignified silence on the speculations. But the Internet has been flooded with several questions about their separation since Aishwarya’s name was displayed without ‘Bachchan’ surname.
During the summit at the Global Women's Forum, the actress was a keynote speaker. During her speech, she said “This summit is a shining example of what can be achieved when voices from diverse backgrounds come together with a shared purpose to inspire change, foster equality, and create opportunities for women worldwide.” Netizens hailed the actress and called her ‘queen’ and ‘inspiration’ for people. They showered their love for her in the comment section of the post.
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: II. The 2023 Tamil movie was directed by Mani Ratnam. It starred Sara Arjun, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shreema Upadhyaya, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi and Vikram in key roles.
On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan is currently seen in I Want To Talk. The film was released in theatres on November 22 and has been working moderately at the box office.
Notably, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan tied knot in 2007 in a private ceremony at Amitabh Bachchan’s residence Prateeksha in Juhu, Mumbai. The couple was blessed with a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan in 2011. They are one of the most loved and adored couples of BTown. But for a few months, reports about their divorce created a buzz on social media. However, neither the couple nor the Bachchan family has reacted on the same.
