Amid controversy about the stampede case, Allu Arjun faced new trouble. A group of students, who claimed to study at Osmania University, barged into Pushpa 2 actor’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. They reportedly damaged flower pots in his residential area as a protest against him regarding the death of a woman during the stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4 during the premiere of Pushpa 2. There were eight students who were part of the Osmania University’s Joint Action Committee (JAC). They are now arrested and taken to Jubilee Hills Police Station.

Allu Arjun was not present at his residence during the time of the incident. As per reports by Telangana Today, it took place on Sunday afternoon when the protesters raised slogans and damaged the pots at the entrance of the film. Earlier today, Allu Arjun's effigy was burnt while protestors were raising slogans. They demanded justice for the stampede case.

Allu Arjun issued a statement on his social media in which he wrote “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline. Misrepresentating as my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles, if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request the fans to not engage with such posts.”

On the other hand, the victim’s husband said in media “I am ready to withdraw the case. I was not aware of the arrest and Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede in which my wife passed away.”
